💞Unconditional Love💞
The other day while travelling I came across this board which had this great thought written “A Child gives birth to a Mother”, I didn’t quite get the meaning of it then and thought it was rather stupid or didn’t make sense, but when I thought over it i realised that the statement was so very true.
When a child is born he/she gives birth to a “Mother”, in the same way when we were born we gave birth to our mother, as we came into this world we brought along with us an identity and gave birth to a new relationship, a wife became a mother and a husband became a father.
A child with the birth brings along with him/her a lot of happiness, gives birth to new relationships. Slowly as we grow up , passing the phases from being a toddler to a teenager and from a teenager to an adult, we are mostly dependent on our Parents, with time we start taking decisions on our own, we want to become more independent as each day passes, the dependency which we loved and craved for earlier becomes an embarrassment to us, we feel embarrassed to be dependent on our parents, slowly we become very conscious about what people would think about us or how a certain person would behave or react towards our actions.
It is the world which starts to matter more to us than our parents, we want to be known as independent individuals and not as a “mumma’s boy or girl” as they call it, But in all this we neglect something which is very important to each one of us as an individual, as a child, as a daughter or as a son, we tend to forget to thank our parents for the love and affection they have given us throughout the years, from the day one of our life.
Our parents who made sure we went to the best possible school, wore the best clothes, parents who were hurt and panicked when we fell, parents who taught us to walk, who always were there and continue to be there and help us with that extra push in our life while we make a decision . Why does it happen many a times that we tend to take their love and affection for granted?
Why does it so happen that suddenly their love and affection becomes embarrassment to us infront of our friends? How can a stranger replace their place in our heart? How can someone else be so important to us than our very own parents? How can even this thought arise in our head? How can people forget those 9 months a mother keeps the child in her womb?
Parents are to be valued, loved and looked after, it is our duty to take care of our parents as they grow old,to understand them and be their friend as they grow old,we need to be patient and deal with them with love and affection the way they took care of us when we were babies. No matter how much you hurt your parents, they would still love you for who you are, no matter how bad or inhumanely you treat them.
Their Love is just Unconditional.
This is so true. I actually miss my parents a lot as I'm always away from them, but the good thing is that I'm just working hard for them to give them a comfortable life.
